A MAN has been found not guilty of controlling behaviour and assaulting a woman.
Ashley Ciminera, 36, of Bryn Salem in Felinfach, appeared in the dock at Swansea Crown Court on November 13.
He was charged with controlling and coercive behaviour towards a woman between May 5 and October 4 after allegedly causing her to fear that violence would be used against her on at least two occasions.
He also faced a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the same woman on October 3.
He pleaded not guilty to each charge.

Prosecutor Ian Wright said that the complainant had “effectively withdrawn her support” for the case.
He said that without her support, there was “no realistic chance of prosecution”.
The prosecution offered no evidence on either count, and Judge Geraint Walters formally entered not guilty verdicts. He will now be released from prison.
